I like how you compare the person in the poem to a painter and a blank canvas, showing how anything is possible for the future, that nothing is set in stone for that person. It shows the emotions of this person very well, with the end stanzas being a bit more hopeful, like they now look at being a blank canvas as a good thing, because now they can create (or paint, as said in this poem,) their own future independently. This is very real and very emotional, and I really enjoyed it.
