So, as it turns out, my parents are kind of not exactly normal. And I don't mean weird and embarrassing; I mean mutated-genes-non-normal. And they kind of passed that on to me. Which means that there's a top-secret government agency out for my blood.

I am only one of hundreds. And I know that. I know I'm not special, or that I'll be remembered as a significant asset to the cause, or that I'll make any kind of difference in being here.  But I am still here, in the middle of it all, being pushed and shoved by the vast mass of people that surrounds me. Just as all of the others, I have a tight grip on my gun, a finger hovering over the trigger and a hood covering most of my face.
